How to Play

Objective

Connect the START word to the END word by filling in three intermediate words, creating a valid 4-step word ladder.

The Golden Rule

Each hop must change EXACTLY ONE LETTER from the previous word.

For example, if you have the word COLD, you could hop to:

CORD (changed L to R) ✓
BOLD (changed C to B) ✓
COLA (changed D to A) ✓

But you CANNOT hop to:

WARM (changed 3 letters) ✗
COAL (changed 2 letters) ✗
XOLD (not a real word) ✗

Game Rules

Fill in all three empty word slots
Each word must be exactly 4 letters
Each word must be a valid English word
Each hop changes exactly ONE letter
You have 3 attempts (shown as dots)
A new puzzle appears daily at 12:00 AM ET
